Terms of service

KalaSangama is management software for arts institutions: admissions, students, classes, attendance and fees. The mobile app is a companion to a subscription held by an institution. It is not a consumer product and cannot be used without an institution account.

You must give an accurate email address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised. One person holds one account, which may be linked to several institutions.

Each institution holds an annual licence. Fees are stated at the time of purchase, exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise, and are payable in advance. A trial, where offered, converts to a paid licence only if you choose to purchase.

Subscriptions are purchased on our website, not through the app stores. When a licence lapses, access to the institution's data is suspended but the data is retained for 90 days so a late renewal loses nothing.

If the service does not work as described and we cannot fix it, write to support@kalasangama.com within 30 days of payment and we will refund the licence in full. Beyond 30 days, licences are non-refundable for the remainder of the term.

The records an institution enters remain that institution's property. We process them only to provide the service. You can export your data at any time, and you can ask us to delete it. We do not sell it or use it to train anything.

Do not use the service to break the law, to store data you have no right to hold, to attempt to reach another institution's records, or to disrupt the service for others. We may suspend an account that does.

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the records you enter, including anything you rely on for accounting or statutory purposes.

You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account from within the app or at /delete-account. We may end the agreement if fees go unpaid or these terms are breached, after giving you reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your data.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India have exclusive jurisdiction.
